Taste Profile TENNENT’S OAK AGED BEER is brewed using a complex recipe containing the pure waters of Loch Katrine, 3 types of malted barley, barley and wheat – all grown in Scotland and a blend of 4 of the choicest hops from the US and EU. An approachable yet complex liquid, a magnificent beer drinking experience Our Process The Tennent’s Brewing and Fermentation process which takes a minimum of 3 weeks, incorporates the process of warm maturation which includes the ageing of the beer in a whisky soaked oak wood. The scotch whisky is infused into the oak wood. When fermentation and oak ageing is complete, the fermented beer is repeatedly re-circulated over the whisky soaked oak wood. Once the oak aging process is complete the beer is stored in a maturation vessel where the oak, vanilla and whisky flavours imparted during the aging process continue to mature during this time
