1871 – Alexander Wilson & Co. founds the distillery. Equipment from the disused Tochieneal Distillery, also owned by Alexander Wilson, is installed.
1936 – Alexander Wilson & Co. becomes bankrupt and Buckie Town Council buys the distillery and the family’s home for £1,600.
1938 – The distillery is sold on to Arthur Bell & Sons for £3,000.
1966 – Capacity doubles to four stills.
1985 – Guinness acquires Arthur Bell & Sons.
1987 – United Distillers is formed by a merger between Arthur Bell & Sons and DCL.
1997 – Inchgower 1974 (22 years) is released as a Rare Malt.
2004 – Inchgower 1976 (27 years) is released as a Rare Malt.
2010 – A single cask from 1993 is released.
