Variety: 100% Pedro Ximenez grape.
Alcoholic Graduation: 16% Alc/Vol.
Contenido en azúcar: 400g/L.
Production process: Obtained from the Pedro Ximenez grapes made raisins. At the end of the summer, the grapes are spread out on mats during 10 days to naturally concentrate the sugars, aromas and flavours. The result is a very particular sweet wine which requires 3 kgs. of grapes to produce 1 litter of PX.
Aging: Oxidative aging through Solera and Criadera system. Aged during 20 years in American oak barrels in our hundred-year-old cellar. The barrels used for the aging belong to the winery since its foundation in 1902. It is the most awarded wine from our Cellars, excellent old sweet PX from Montilla-Moriles.
Tasting notes: Dark mahogany colour with intense aromas to matured fig, vanilla, liquorice, roasted coffee, chocolate and dry fruits with a wooden aftertaste thanks to its old age. Sweet, soft and creamy.
